Yomalis Rosario

is a Black Dominican poet, teacher, and bookseller who was born and raised in Washington Heights, NYC. She was a featured poet for Poets on the Plaza hosted by SupaDupaFresh at Lincoln Center as well as Kan Yama Kan in Brooklyn. Most recently, she was one of the recipients of the Brooklyn Poets Fall 2023 Fellowship and was awarded the Parent-Writer Fellowship from Martha's Vineyard Institute for Creative Writing. She has five poems forthcoming in EcoTheo Review and writes about creativity, spirituality, & liberation in her newsletter Letters From the Root. She currently lives in Jersey City, NJ with her husband and two children.
